Amazon and eBay running as one channel
Two marketplace accounts, two sets of pricing, and inventory that regularly oversold. We unified listings and repricing logic, then layered ad management across both — auction-style and fixed-price.

The challenge
Two teams ran two marketplaces with two spreadsheets. The same SKU could be listed at different prices on Amazon and eBay in the same week, and shared stock meant one channel selling out silently oversold the other — roughly a dozen incidents a month, each one a metrics hit on a platform that punishes late cancellation hard.
Advertising was Amazon-only, and eBay was treated as clearance rather than a channel.
What we did
One catalogue, two surfaces
A single source catalogue now generates both channels' listings with platform-specific field mapping. Product data is edited once. Titles and attributes still differ where each platform's index demands it, but the underlying record does not.
Repricing with a shared floor
We built a repricer with a margin floor per SKU and channel-aware rules, so eBay can win on auction dynamics without undercutting Amazon Buy Box strategy. Both channels respect the same minimum.
Reserved stock properly
Available quantity is now derived from a shared pool with a channel buffer that scales with each SKU's sell-through rate. Fast movers hold more buffer; slow movers hold almost none.
Treated eBay as a real channel
Promoted Listings ran on the 60 SKUs with genuine eBay-specific demand, and auction-style formats were used deliberately for end-of-line stock instead of blanket discounting.
The outcome
Combined marketplace revenue grew 2.3× while ad cost of sale settled at 18%. Oversell incidents fell 92%, and both accounts have stayed inside their platform health thresholds since month two.
eBay went from 6% to 27% of marketplace revenue over the engagement.
